Training starts on Wednesday 29th August. Training will be 7.30 till 8.30 for the Ladies and 8.30 till 9.30 for the Men. Members from all teams are encouraged to make the commitment to come down and take part.

We will be running junior training this season from Sunday 7th Oct. Separate sessions are run for 7 - 10 yrs and 10 - 14 years. We start at 10:30am and finish at 12 noon. Each team will be asked to assist the coaches during the season. For more information go to the Juniors sections or contact Nic Reynolds or Jon Tapp. Schedule of sessions:

On Saturday the 15th September the whole club will be kicking the Centenary season off with a Club Day at Ditton Field. The day will involve a number of games against the school and guest opposition, some junior and mixed hockey followed by refreshments in the pavilion and a BBQ at the end of the day. All club members are most welcome whether you had the benefit of going to KGS or not! There will be a lot of people there for a great social occasion, so even if you are not playing come down to the pitches to show your support, and enjoy a drink or picnic. Exact times of games will be posted once confirmed.

A Golf Day has been organised for Friday 19th October at Chobham Golf Club. Details including booking information for this event are attached. Don Wilson is organising the event and it would be good to see as many members from the club participate as possible.

Subscriptions are £150 for full time members if paid before 31/12/07 and £180 thereafter (students/ unemployed £75). Payment can be made by cash, cheque, direct bank transfer or by 5 monthly standing order installments of £30. For those who wish to pay by standing order form or need the club bank account details for a direct bank transfer please contact graham.allen3@virgin.net.

As in previous season we will be offering a discount for members who help to recruit new members. For each new recruit you bring to the club there is a discount of £30 - hence if you can recruit 5 players your subscriptions will be free. Please pay your full subscriptions as normal and advise the treasurer (graham.allen3@virgin.net) of the names of the players you have recruited. Any discounts will be refunded by the treasurer upon receipt of a subscription for the new recruit (note - the discount still applies for goalkeeper recruits even though they are exempt from subscriptions).

See the link below for a list of all the Level 1 umpiring courses that are planned to run in Surrey during the 2007/2008 season. If you are interested in qualifying for either the Level 1 or the Surrey umpiring badge then please register your interest by completing the attached form, indicating clearly which course you want to attend and emailing it to janebinner@computerpeople.co.uk with Level 1 course in the subject line. Playing shirts will no longer be held in stock by the club but will be held on our behalf by the Pro Shop.

If you require a new shirt you will have to visit/contact the Thames Ditton shop yourself. The shirts cost £20 each.
