Training

We also offer a Wednesday early evening training session for all boys and girls playing in the U10-U16 age groups. The group will be limited to 30 people on a first-come-first served basis. The hour and a half sessions starts at 18:00 and is run by two of the Club’s Level 2 qualified coaches. The training session works on fitness and conditioning, core and advanced skills and game play. Groups will be streamed to ensure that all players develop at an appropriate pace. The streaming will be responsive and reviewed by the coaches.

Equipment Required

Hockey sticks will be provided until Christmas, but every child should turn up for each training session and all matches with shin pads and a gum shield. If not, under the terms of our insurance, they will not be able to play. Also, all long hair must be tied back and all jewellery (earrings, rings, bracelets) must be removed.

All OKHC playing kit is available at Total Hockey (who recently acquired the ProShop). The tops cost £20 with the child’s name on the back. Club branded equipment is currently available online and by visiting the store at 30 Commerce Road, Brentford, TW8 8LE:
